I seem to need constant reminding that the world is really filled with people that are unique and creative, just that they have been forced into molds by... society? culture? media? peer pressure?

No. None of those.

They have been forced into molds by the fear they inflict upon themselves.

Why are you afraid of being different?

Remember the ABS (anti-boring system)? Basically, when you need to do some work, and you go play some crap game or watch some crap show, the reward you get:

Total reward = enjoyment from misc activities + removal of punishment

where punishment = whatever work you need to do

So there's an increased reward for whatever activity you decide to do, and whatever crap becomes more interesting say before an exam or assignment is due.

When there is no work
work = 0
therefore punishment = 0
therefore reward from removal of punishment = 0

New total reward = enjoyment from misc activities only.

Hence the same activity becomes more boring after the exam, because ABS does not work without the removal of punishment. (Q.E.D).

人类和老鼠的不同之处，就是老鼠可以单纯地用外来的赏罚来影响。而人类的赏罚常常都是对内的，而且是自我赋予的。自我赋予的性质代表许多事都是赏罚掺半的。比如说施暴会导致外来的惩罚，但同时也带着自我赋予的快感。

担任辅导让我学习的第一件事，就是想改变而可以改变的要尽量去改变。改变不了的，就只能学会接受。

今天回来这里，因为突然发现我们都是老鼠。

老鼠是很简单的生物。在电击的惩罚与食物的奖赏下，就可以简单地控制它们的行为。

而我们也一样吧。

很多人开始写blog，很多人的blog也渐渐死了。没有人会因为你不写blog而电击你（我想应该不会）。在没有电击的前提下，如果没有得到可口的老鼠饲料就不会维持一样的行为了。而今天为什么又会在这里出现？其实发现，精神上还是有被喂食的吧。而且，当精神饥渴的时候，时不时都可以回来补充一下。
