When animals run out of food, they die off and their numbers get reduced... then whatever they eat will have the chance to grow in numbers and after a while there's enough food again. And the cycle sort of repeats itself I guess. So, as people lash out against cloning and stem cell research and whatnot, saying that we shouldn't play God, don't they realise that saving the poor is messing with nature all the same?
