虽说无一物,尘埃处处盖。未经勤拂拭,何知镜非台?

There's this commercial on Australian TV. It goes something like this: "Every three seconds a child in a third world country dies of extreme poverty, blah blah help to save them blah blah." Which is all fine actually, even commendable since it's for a good cause. EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THE WHOLE COMMERCIAL SHOWS FUCKING RICH CELEBRITIES SNAPPING THEIR FINGERS EVERY THREE SECONDS TO SHOW A KID DIES. Don't they even watch the stuff they do before they show it on television? What kind of message are they sending out? "Woohoo I'm a celebrity so I'll do a cool pose on TV *snap* oops another kids dies. One, two, three *snap*, there goes another one. I better pretend to be all sad and serious *snap*. "

So rich people snapping their fingers is supposed to elicit sympathy now? These people with their million dollar clothing, hair and cosmetic surgery doing a little bit more than nothing, and the average joe is supposed to feel like giving donations? Only one poverty stricken kid is shown in the whole commercial, and he doesn't look like anything's gonna happen to him soon.

If a commercial producer died every three seconds, we won't need to watch this kind of crap.
